> Defeated countrymen Fritz, Donaldson in his hometown for 1st ATP Tour wins en route to 2017 Atlanta QF as WC.

> Qualified a career-best 5 times in 2022 at Doha, Indian Wells, Newport, US Open and San Diego.

> Beat then-No. 106 Auger-Aliassime en route to qualifying at 2019 Australian Open and Martinez for 1st Grand Slam main draw win at 2022 US Open.

Stuttgart) captured an ATP Tour grass court title in the run up to Wimbledon since 1984 McEnroe (Queen’s Club) and Kriek (Bristol). He owns a record of 2–15 against Top50 players in his career. The American could become the 6th ATP Tour champion this season to save a match point on the way to the title (saved 5MPs to defeat Harris in SF).
